POLICE investigating the robbery of a man, who was "shoved into a wall" and his wallet taken, have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to.

The incident happened at around 3.30am on Bank Holiday Monday (May 26) on Dundas Mews, close to the junction of Wilson Street and Sporanos Takeaway, in Middlesbrough.

Two men approached the victim before robbing a wallet from his jeans pocket.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Anyone with information regarding the identity of the two males in the images is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Chris Pringle from Middlesbrough CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 087652."
