POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in the Garden Village area of Richmond last night.
Paramedics were called to the area around 9.20pm and alerted police.
A police spokesperson said ambulance services had been called to a property after reports of a man with stab injuries. The man said he had been walking his dog in the Garden Village area when he was injured.
Police said: "Paramedics treated the man at the property and he was taken to hospital for further treatment, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.
"A 27-year-old man from Catterick has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and currently remains in police custody."
