A POLICE dog unit has helped with the arrest of a suspected dangerous driver.
A man, 40, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, no insurance, no licence, driving dangerously and failing to stop in the Skelton area on Saturday.
He has been released under investigation.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "On Saturday, August 10, PC Mo Rashad and PD Rocky were called to a report of a man believed to be driving a silver Mitsubishi dangerously in the Skelton area.
"The report was called in by a member of the public.
A small pursuit occurred with Mo, Rocky and the Mitsubishi and a short time later, the vehicle "crashed into a bush.
"A man, 40, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, no insurance, no licence, driving dangerously and failing to stop and he has been released under investigation.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
