Emergency services called to Pizza Nova in Wheatley Hill Picture: Google
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a fire at a pizza shop.
Firefighters are tackling the blaze at Pizza Nova on Peterlee Cottages, Wheatley Hill.
The cause and nature of the fire are not yet known.
A spokesperson for County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two appliances from Wheatley Hill and Peterlee are attending a fire in a shop on Peterlee Cottages, Wheatley Hill.
"Two Hosereels and two sets of Breathing Apparatus currently in use."
