TWO men are set to appear in court following a house burglary in South Hetton.
The men, who both face a charge of dwelling burglary, were arrested following an incident in Conishead Terrace, South Hetton, on Sunday, July 28.
They appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court shortly afterwards.
No pleas were entered and both were remanded into custody.
They will next appear at Durham Crown Court on August 29.
Temporary Detective Sergeant Marco Fantin, who is leading the investigation, said: “This was serious but isolated incident.
“We would like to reassure the public that we are doing everything we can to bring the perpetrators to justice.”
