A WOMAN has been left with serious head injuries after her Fiat 500 was involved in a crash with a wagon this morning.
The crash happened shortly before 9am near Tow Law.
Police and the North East Ambulance Service were called to the incident on the A68.
The B6299 and the A68 were closed following the crash.
The woman was treated at the scene by an ambulance and the roads have since been reopened.
