HEROIN and cannabis have been seized by police during a drugs raid in Middlesbrough.
Two people were arrested after the raid at a house on Portman Street.
A 48-year-old man and 30-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.

The action was part of Cleveland Police’s Operation Phoenix; a summer long operation to improve public service, help vulnerable people, tackle serious violence and prevent crime.
Officers also recovered some suspected stolen identification and documentation and both the man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of theft.
They have been released under investigation.
