Firefighters rescued a pigeon stuck on a house
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a pigeon stuck on a house roof yesterday evening.
The pigeon became stuck on an aerial at an address in Murton.
The bird had been stuck on the roof for hours and was noticed after the residents came in from work.
Firefighters from Peterlee Fire Station attended the incident and freed the bird's leg which had become entangled.
The bird was given to residents who offered to take it to an emergency vet.
