Armed police then descended onto an address in Outram Street, Middlesbrough and Normanby Road, South Bank, after inital enquiries lead them there.

Police said the first suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s, around 5ft 6inches tall and of skinny to medium build.

While the second suspect was described as a black male, younger, taller and thinner than the first.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "Anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspects is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Chris Pringle from Middlesbrough CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 117350."
