POLICE are appealing to trace the owners of suspected stolen fishing equipment which have been recovered in Middlesbrough.
The gear was found in a vehicle on Waterloo Road, Middlesbrough at around 12.15am on Monday, July 8.
Items recovered include a black holdall, a green holdall and a green hard case all containing fishing equipment, a pair of navy Barbour wellies, a green lounger, a green bag containing overwrap, a black rucksack containing camping equipment, a blue bag containing a camping shelf, a picnic table, a blue bag containing fishing rods and a camping storage unit.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with the suspected stolen items.
