Police have been dealing with a suspected stabbing in Darlington.
On Wednesday at around 4pm, a suspected assault took place at Bank Top station.
The Great North Air Ambulance landed nearby to treat the victim, who is believed to be a young teenager.
At around 5pm the Great North Air Ambulance took off from the scene, but it is believed the victim has been taken to hospital by land ambulance.
A spokesperson for Durham Police confirmed that officers were investigating.
The youngster's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
