A MAN stopped by police in North Yorkshire has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and other motoring offences.
North Yorkshire Police spotted a vehicle of interest near Tadcaster, on the border of West Yorkshire.
The vehicle was stopped and when officers carried out a check on the vehicle, found the man was driving without a licence or insurance.
Officers were also surprised to find the windscreen of the vehicle was severely cracked.
The man, who is wanted for another alleged offence in Thirsk, also tested positive for cocaine during a roadside drug swipe and was arrested by police on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.
