A MAN accused of a string of offences is wanted by police for failing to attend court.
Liam Watson-Hunter, 22, from Edmondsley, was due to attend Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on June 20.
He is charged with three counts of theft, handling stolen good and criminal damage.
Magistrates have issued a warrant without bail for his arrest and anyone with information as to his whereabout is asked to contact police.
A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: “Liam Watson-Hunter was due to attend court in late June, however he did not show up.
“As such, he is currently wanted. Mr Watson-Hunter has links to the Edmondsley, Sacriston and Stanley areas.
“If you have information which would assist in locating Mr Watson-Hunter, or if you have seen him please call us on 101, or provide information anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.”
