TWO suspected drug dealers have been arrested following a drugs warrant on Wednesday (July 3).

The men, 27, and 33, were arrested at a property in the Woodside Chase area of Colburn, near Catterick in North Yorkshire.

Police said they had seized a 'significant quantity' of illegal drugs, along with items believed to have been used in their supply. 

The men were arrested on suspicion of possessing class B drugs with intent to supply, and remain in police custody. 

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Anyone who suspects drug dealing is happening in their area should report it. Every piece of information, no matter how small, could help us piece together a bigger picture and help to shape our police activity.

Police said residents should look out for:

  • Increased callers at a property
  • Increase in cars pulling up for short periods of time
  • Different accents at a property
  • Increased antisocial behaviour at a property
  • Not seeing the resident for long periods of time
  • Unfamiliar vehicles at the property
  • Windows covered or curtains closed for long periods
