EMERGENCY services were called to reports of youth disorder on a school field.
UPDATE: Missing teens safe and well after end-of-exams disorder
It is understood that a large group of teenagers gathered near St Bede's Catholic School in Peterlee to celebrate the end of exams.
But at around 9pm emergency services received reports of drunkeness and minor assaults.
Police in the town urged parents to go and collect their children if they believed them to be there.
Earlier in the day Northumbria and Durham police had both issued warnings to school leavers to stay safe.
