FOOD lovers are in for a treat tomorrow when a Farmers' Market sets up stall in Darlington town centre.
A selection of artisan food producers will be coming to West Row, offering cheeses, sauces, fudge, cheesecakes, jams and street food from 10am to 3pm.
Alex Nicholson, Darlington Markets Manager, said “Darlington Indoor Market has an excellent selection of fresh food and produce but does not open for trade on Sundays. MAM want to supplement this offer with a monthly artisan Farmer’s Market which offers something a little bit different. This will be held on a monthly basis. We are confident the demand is there and hope the people of Darlington will support the traders as we grow and develop the market.”
The market marks the first in a series of new events Market Asset Management are putting on as they are also launching Pease Pudding night markets, starting at 4pm on Thursday June 6 June in the Market Square.
Any traders interested in being part of the event are asked to contact email Alex Nicholson at manager@darlingtonmarket.com
