A MAN has suffered a broken arm after being involved in a hit and run incident.
The 26-year-old pedestrian was struck on Woodlands Road, Middlesbrough, at around 2.15pm on Sunday afternoon.
A black BMW vehicle collided with a pedestrian and the driver failed to stop at the scene.
A spokeswoman for North East Ambulance Service said: "We got a call to Woodlands Road to reports of an incident between and car and a pedestrian.
"We sent one ambulance and one patient was taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough."
