A NEWSAGENT has made the headlines after winning a £91.000 BMW M5 plus £20,000 in cash, thanks to dream car competition firm, BOTB.
Jasvant Singh, of Stanley, County Durham, was surprised at his family’s newsagents by BOTB presenter Christian Williams who arrived at the shop to find the lucky winner working in the back office.
But Christian soon led him outside to present Jasvant with his prize while surrounded by family and customers.
“It doesn’t feel real,” said Mr Singh as he checked out his brand new supercar. “I can’t believe this is real!”
Since it was founded in 1999 by William Hindmarch, BOTB has given away over £26.8m worth of prizes.
Mr Singh, who is a huge BMW fan and has only entered for the M5 since he first discovered BOTB two months ago, described the highly sought-after motor as the ‘ultimate daily car’.
“You’ve got performance and practicality,” he said. “I’ve got a family, my wife and two girls, so this just feels like the natural step up for us.”
Not only did the dad-of-two win his dream car, but he also won a whopping £20,000 cash which he plans to spend on adding top specifications to his new wheels.
Mr Williams said it was great to surprise a mega-fan with his ultimate dream car and see first hand such a lovely reaction to the win.
“Jasvant has only ever had eyes for the M5 and you just couldn’t beat the look on his face when we revealed the car! I hope he has the best time hitting the road in his new car with his family." he said.
