Rail services have been disrupted by trespassers between Durham and Newcastle
TRESPASSERS have blocked the railway between Durham and Newcastle, resulting in disruption to services.
The situation was reported before 5pm and journeys between these stations are expected to be affected until about 8pm.
National Rail Enquiries stated: "Services may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. We anticipate disruption will continue until 20:00."
