ANTI social behaviour is being taken seriously, according to the Victims and Crime Commissioner for County Durham and Darlington.
Ron Hogg has tried to reassure residents in response to the final national report by Baroness Newlove, the Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales.
In Anti-Social Behaviour: Living a Nightmare, she says that victims are being let down by police, local councils and housing providers, with many victims having to suffer in silence.
Mr Hogg said “We are undertaking a review to ensure that we are approaching anti-social behaviour in the most effective and efficient ways possible, and that appropriate support for victims is maintained throughout.”
