RUNNERS will once again take on a race through the grounds of a County Durham castle.
Organised by Teesdale Athletic Club, the 17th Annual Raby Races will take place at Raby Castle, near Staindrop, on Sunday, May 12.
Four races will take place including a 3km for those aged 11 and under and a 1.2km for the eight year olds and under. Following the junior events a 5km distance for those aged 11 and over will take place followed by a 10km race for competitors aged 16 and over.

Teesdale Athletic Club member and one of the organisers, Amanda Pettitt, said it would be the first year there would also be official chip timing for the 5km and 10km races with banners at the start and finish.
She said: "You cannot beat running in the grounds of Raby Castle."
Entry is £4 for the 1.2km race, £5 for the 3km race, £10 for the 5km race and £18 or £16 for affiliated members for the 10km race.
Late entries will be available on the day subject to availability.
