MEMBERS of the Classic Corvette Club are expected to attend the car show 'Classics on Show' for their first time in June.
Corvette enthusiasts from Cumbria, Northumberland, Durham, Tyneside and Teesside will bring ten prized vehicles to the car show in Stokesley on June 15.
Chris Mayes chairman of Classics on Show said: “This is welcome news for the event.
"Although the show is largely focussed on vintage vehicles – it is an exhibition of classic vehicles and the Corvette greatly fits the profile.”
Amongst the prized collection, the C7 Corvette, which is the latest model of the series, will be in attendance.
The C7, which is driven by a V-8 engine, generates around 455 in horsepower.
Gordon Phipps of Classic Corvette Club North East said: “We are really looking forward to the day and discovering Stokesley and the show. We’re planning to take part in the opening parade and our stand will be complete with flags and bunting."
