POLICE have appealed for information about a disturbance which happened at a busy bus station in broad daylight.
A number of people were assaulted during the incident at Durham Bus Station, on North Road.
A spokesperson for Durham police said the incident took place at around 12.20pm on Monday, April 15.
Officers investigating the disturbance are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The area is likely to have been busy on Monday as many people are visiting the city this week during the school Easter holidays.
Anyone with information that could assist officers with their enquiries is asked to contact PC Emma O'Connor or PC Beth Holmes at Durham Constabulary on 101 quoting DHM-15042019-0164.
