BEAMISH, the Living Museum of the North has announced Easter themed activities for the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.
From Good Friday to Easter Monday visitors can try traditional Easter baking at Herron’s Bakery in The 1900s Town from hot cross buns to other themed treats.
There will be a chance to make an Easter wreath in The Pit Village school from Friday to Sunday.
From Saturday to Monday the 1940s Farm will be making carrot lollies, Easter cards and finger puppets.
And on Easter Sunday and Monday, visitors can head to the dentist’s waiting room in The 1900s Town to decorate an egg, plus there’ll be egg rolling in The Town park at 11am, 1pm, 3pm.
Easter activities are included in admission to Beamish and are free for Unlimited Pass holders.
