A MOTORCYCLIST was pronounced dead at the scene following a collision on Friday (April 12).
The 48-year-old man, who has not been named, became involved in an incident on Trunk Road, Middlesbrough at around 6:05pm.
Police said the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after he collided with a lammpost near to the Cleveland Retail Park.
Cleveland Police are now appealing to witnesses, and motorists who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
A police spokeswoman said: "Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Martin Tranmer from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 061013."
