A QUIZ in memory of a much-loved Darlington teenager will take place next month to raise funds into cancer research.
Kieran Maxwell died in June 2017 after a courageous battle against cancer.
His family and friends have organised a charity quiz night at the Rolling Mills Club off Longfield Road, on Friday, May 3.
Kieran, pictured above, who studied at Darlington College, was passionate about raising awareness and research into the rare cancer Ewing’s Sarcoma.
His friend Kath MacColl said: “Everyone who met Kieran was left with this great impression of a happy smiling and brave young man. He faced his illness with tremendous courage and I hope his many friends will come and support the night which is all about raising funds for Kieran’s charity.”
The evening will be hosted by Steve Rose and tickets are £10 per person and include a pie and peas supper. Tickets are available now from Kieran’s mum Nicola Maxwell at Bobby B’s boutique on Bondgate or by ringing 07596-193981.
