LEISURE centres throughout Hambleton District are injecting extra fun sessions into Easter swimming.
The centres at Northallerton, Bedale, Stokesley and Thirsk are also staging extra events ranging from crash course sessions for people who can't swim or who need to improve techniques. Pool parties with inflatables, discos and games are being held between Monday April 15 and Tuesday April 23.
Normal admission prices apply, but organisers say places are subject to availability. Young children aged from four to 11 are also being offered the chance to learn the art of riding motorised inflatable jet skis, with the help of specially trained staff at Bedale, Stokesley and Thirsk centres.
