A FAMILY has been left devastated after a 12-year-old cyclist died following a crash.
Riley Young-Hudson, from Stockton, Teesside, suffered serious injuries in the collision on the Durham Road bypass at 4.15pm last Friday.
The 12-year-old was riding a bike at the time of the collision, which also involved a blue Audi A3.
He was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital (RVI) in Newcastle, where he passed away on Monday evening.
His family paid tribute to Riley, saying: “Riley is a much loved son, brother and grandson and our family are devastated by his loss.”
