The victim of an assault in Chester-le-Street, who was knocked unconscious
A MAN was knocked unconscious after being punched outside a County Durham pub.
It happened outside The Wicket Gate pub in Chester-le-Street, at about 6.45pm on Saturday, March 9.

A police spokesperson said: "It is believed the suspect entered into an altercation with the victim before punching him unconscious and leaving the injured man with facial injuries.
"The suspect is described as being of large build, wearing a red top."
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call PC Helen Willcox on 101, quoting reference number 324 of March 9.
