A WARNING has been issued by police after extremely dangerous horse medication was stolen from a barn.
The medication – which could be extremely dangerous if consumed by humans – was stolen along with tools including a Bosch power drill, a drill bit set and an extension cable.
The items were stolen overnight from Thursday, March 21 to the following morning from a barn on the outskirts of Saltburn.
Cleveland Police said that two types of worming medication were stolen during the break-in.
Both were contained in oral plastic syringes ie no needles were attached. The medication comprised a box containing a full large syringe of Pramox worming paste made by Equest and half a syringe of Panacur worming paste which was not in a box.
- Anyone with information about the stolen items or anyone who sees any of them for sale is asked to contact Cleveland Police via the 101 number, quoting Event 47920. Alternatively, information can be passed to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
