A FIVE-YEAR-OLD girl suffered a broken leg after she was hit by a car.
Cleveland Police are appealing for information after the white Volkswagen Polo struck the girl near to the shops on Byland Road in Skelton, east Cleveland.
The incident occurred on Thursday, March 21 at around 6pm.
As a result of the collision the girl was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough where she was treated for a broken leg.
