A DARLINGTON pub has become the latest organisation to be named a LGBT+ Champion.
Staff at The Boot & Shoe have successfully completed their awareness training and have undergone the evidence based assessment in order to demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the scheme.
Chris Metters, the manger of the Boot and Shoe, said:“This was a very rewarding scheme and we thoroughly enjoyed the process. We feel it is important to invest in the development of our staff team and also, by doing so, benefit all the people in Darlington."
Andi Cull from Darlington ARQ added “It was a pleasure to roll-out this essential scheme with the Boot & Shoe and they are the first public house in Darlington to do this."
