A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of a woman.
Ian McKenzie has been charged with murder after a 55-year-old woman was found dead at a property on Ingram Road in Berwick Hills, Middlesbrough, on Wednesday morning.
The 34-year-old will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court later on Thursday.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "A 34-year-old man will appear in court today charged with murder.
"Police were called to a report of the death of a 55-year-old woman on Ingram Road in Middlesbrough yesterday, Wednesday March 20 at 9.30am."
