One lane of A1(M) closed northbound due to accident
THE motorway has reopened after a crash this morning.
One lane of the A1(M) was closed due to an accident at around 8am.
Highways England says: "We currently have lane two closed on the A1(M) between J62 (Carville) and J63 (Blind Lane) due to an RTC.
"Traffic officers are en route.
"Please pass the scene with care."
It is understood the vehicles involved have now been moved into the hard shoulder and the road is fully reopened.
Traffic is still moving slowly and motorists are asked to take care whilst passing the scene.
