A MAN died in a road crash on Yarm Back Lane, near Stockton, on Friday, police have revealed.
Officers were called just before 4pm to reports of an incident on Yarm Back Lane, at the end of the road closest to Darlington Back Lane.
The incident involved two vehicles, understood to be a horse box and a car.
Cleveland Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing to confirm the identity of the man who sadly died. Specially trained officers are supporting the family.
"Officers are appealing for witnesses, please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 43670."
