A SHOP worker was threatened with a knife over just £60 of cash in Stockton.

Police are appealing for information after the knifepoint robbery at the Sure Pure CBD Oil store on Prince Regent Street, which took place at about 4pm yesterday, Monday March 11.

A man entered the store and threatened the staff member with a knife before demanding the cash.

About £60 was handed over to a man who is described as being a white male, in his 30s, with stubble and a shaved head at the sides with dark hair on top. He is of large build, about 20 stone plus, and was wearing a dark tracksuit.

After the incident the man crossed the road and made off in the direction of Lodge Street.

The staff member was not injured in the robbery.
