TWO men - one armed with a small firearm - escaped with up to £300 when they robbed a shop.
Cleveland Police said the two suspects entered the Lifestyle Express Store, in Grove Hill, Middlesbrough shortly before 7pm on Friday evening.
One of the men was reportedly carrying a small firearm, which was not pointed at anyone inside the store. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
The men made off with between £200 and £300 in cash.
A 32-year-old man from the Middlesbrough area has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and he remains in police custody at this time.
