FIRE crews battled a blaze at the BT telephone exchange building in Middlesbrough.
Seven crews used jets to tackle the flames after the fire broke out at around 5.25pm this evening (Thursday, February 21).
An ambulance was on standby at the scene but it is not yet known if anybody has been injured in the ongoing incident.
