TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour after incidents in North Yorkshire.
The alleged incidents, included criminal damage to a children’s playground, and reports of a group of youths allegedly throwing stones at passing members of the public in the Stokesley area.
On Thursday, North Yorkshire Police said they had “achieved the arrest” of two people, with further arrests anticipated.
A police spokesperson said: “This behaviour included damage to a community children’s play park which is there to be enjoyed by all.
“The police and the community will not tolerate this unacceptable behaviour and anyone identified as being involved will be dealt with robustly.”
