A BASEBALL bat wrapped in barbed wire and embedded with screws has been taken off the streets.
The weapon was found by men working in Stockton town centre.
Stockton Neighbourhood Police Team said: "Members of public are advised to report any weapons to the police and we will ensure that they are removed from the streets and destroyed."
