AN EIGHT-vehicle crash on a section of the A66 bypass in Darlington has been cleared.
The route has been reopened by emergency services after responding to a call at around 7.40am on Monday morning.
A lorry and cars were among the vehicles involved in the incident, which saw the A66 between Blands Corner and Neasham Road, at The Northern Echo Arena, closed for more than six hours.

A Durham Police spokeswoman confirmed this morning that those involved in the crash are believed to have sustained minor injuries only.
