FANS of the late great George Michael can relive his greatest solo and Wham! hits in the region.
Organisers of the Lobster Ball, held at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield, have announced that George Michael tribute, Rob Lamberti, will join the line-up at the charity fundraiser on May 17.
The singer, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the star, has made several TV appearances including ITV’s Stars in Their Eyes and more recently the BBC’s Even Better Than The Real Thing.
John Adamson, managing director of Hardwick Hall Hotel, said: “We are always on the lookout for top-class acts to entertain our diners at the ball and Rob Lamberti is a fantastic performer who we are thrilled to add to the event,” said John.
“The Lobster Ball is known for attracting amazing performers and this year is certainly going to be no different.”
Raising money for Daisy Chain to help families affected by autism, the ball will also feature headline act The Bootleg Beatles and vocalist Diane Shaw.
