WILLIAMS On January 7, suddenly in hospital, John Edward of Thornley aged 70 years. Beloved son of the late Jonny and Theresa, dear brother of Anne and the late Marie, a sadly missed brother-in-law of Mac and Bob, a dear uncle of Paula, Kevin, Stephen, Michael and Jonathan, and great-uncle of Robbie, Richard, Laura, Emily, Sarah, Libby, Harry and Jack. Requiem Mass to take place on Tuesday, January 22. Would family and friends please meet at The Sacred Heart and English Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Thornley at 9:30am, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations may be given after the mass to Cancer Research UK.
