A DRIVER will appear in court later this month after police were alerted to a car being driven in a 'concerning manner' and were able to track it down and arrest the person at the wheel.
Durham Police was made aware of the vehicle being driven in a concerning manner in the Consett area at around 7.30pm last night.
Officers promptly searched the area and found the car in the Hownsgill Industrial Park and seized the vehicle.
A spokesperson for the force said: "The driver was arrested and later charged with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
"The driver of this vehicle will appear in court later this month."
