STUNNING shots of North Yorkshire's captivating landscapes will feature on limited edition library cards.

Photographers were invited to capture the beauty and diversity of a the region during a summer competition organised by the county council’s library service.

More than 100 people submitted a total of 350 images covering all aspects of the county.

Now the winners have been announced and the successful photos are adorning a limited edition set of North Yorkshire library membership cards. County Councillor Greg White said: “The standard of the entries was very high and the judging panel deliberated long and hard to whittle the entries down to a final shortlist of ten before agreeing the six winning images.”
