THIEVES have stolen a large sum of money after using a JCB to ram raid a store.
Cleveland Police received a report of a ram raid at the B&M store in Portrack, Stockton, on Sunday, December 23 at 10.50pm. A spokeswoman said: "A JCB which is suspected to be stolen was used in the ram raid and a safe was stolen from the premises containing a large amount of cash."
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting event number 233083.
