WITNESS APPEAL: Police have appealed for information following a serious crash at the junction of Lumley New Road and the A1052 at Woodstone Village, near Chester-le-Street
POLICE have now reopened a road at Woodstone Village, near Chester-le-Street, following a serious crash in the early hours of this morning.
A Durham Police spokesman said Lumley New Road, with the junction of the A1052 at Woodstone Village was closed for several hours for investigations to take place.
Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact the Durham Police non-emergency number on 101 quoting incident reference number DHM-23122018-0039
