POP wonders East 17 are performing as a part of a winter village’s festivities this weekend.
The 1990s boy band, which had 18 top-20 singles and responsible for Christmas number one Stay Another Day, will be performing at the winter village on Gateshead Quayside on Saturday.
Only 180 tickets, which are £22 each, went on sale for the show, which is set to take place at the Teepee bar in Baltic Square.
Event organiser Steve Davis said: “Nothing says Christmas more than East 17 and we’re delighted to be able to add them to our roster for our first ever Christmas Tyne event.
“Their Christmas number one is the stuff of legend and we can’t wait for them to bring a little bit of pop magic through our doors this year.”
