JUST to clarify the nebulous suggestions that if a “People’s Vote” is to be held regarding the UK’s exit of the EU it will include an option to Remain.

This, I can clarify, will not be the case. The UK has had a democratic referendum to Leave the EU and Leave won.

This was then backed up by 85 per cent of voters, voting at the last election for parties (Tories, Labour and UKIP) that accepted the exit wishes of the British people. The binary questions on the possible referendum will be.

1) Do you support and accept the one foot in one foot out deal drawn up by Theresa May?

2) Do you wish to Leave the EU on WTO terms thereby saving £39bn?

I hope this nebulism over Brexit is now put to bed.
