Police warn residents to be vigilent after spike in burglaries
RESIDENTS are being asked to remain vigilant after several sneak-in burglaries took place in the early hours of Thursday, December 13.
Sedgefield Police confirmed property such as keys, purses and tablets were taken after the incidents in Trimdon Village and Fishburn.
A police spokesperson said: "Enquires are on-going and should anyone have any information or possible CCTV please contact us. Please help prevent these offences by securing all doors and windows of your home and review your home security accordingly."
